Activities Coordinator- Weekends only

At Black Swan Care Group, we are currently looking for an activities coordinator to work in one of our residential care facilities, Taverham Grove on a part time, 16 hour permanent contract, £13.45 per hour.

Taverham Grove Care Home is located in Taverham to the west of Norwich in Norfolk. The home provides short-term, respite care and longer term support for older people, including people living with dementia.

This position is working every Saturday and Sunday- 08:00am-16:00pm.

Responsibilities of an Activities Coordinator:

Co-ordinate an inclusive program of activities which residents can participate in and help in the care of the residents' physical environment and in the general day to day activities of the home.
Ensure the residents are happy and fulfilled in whatever activities they choose and help in the promotion of mental and physical activity by talking to residents, taking them out, sharing with them in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies, and recreations.
Help residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including incontinence; help in use and care of aids and personal equipment.
