Business manager

Neil’s Steels Ltd is a family-run business running across two sites and one of the leading specialists in structural steel fabrication across the UK.

We have provided an extensive range of projects for a diverse scope of clients, noticeably the Blue Peter Stand at the Chelsea Flower Show 2022.

We are looking for a Business manager to perform a variety of tasks and support our company’s senior-level managers.

Salary - £31,000-38,000 Per year

Driving licence required
In house working with small team
40 Hours per week (Monday-Friday, 8am-4.30pm)

Essential Candidate Requirements;

Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners
Proven experience in a business management, commercial management, or general management role
Acting as Executive assistant to management
Logistics & transport
Demonstrated success in driving growth and operational efficiency.
Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic planning & growth
Estimating
Sales reporting and targets
Chasing estimates & invoices
Manage social media accounts & regular communication with existing and new customers
Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
BOC management - bottle exchange & agent liaising
Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
Forecasts and budgeting

Key Competencies;

Previous Management experience
Written and verbal communication and negotiation excellence
Leadership and team development
Excellent MS Office & Excel knowledge
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with office equipment and applications (e.g. e-calendars and copy machines)
Resilience in a cyclical, price-sensitive industry
