Athena Surfaces, based in Worcester, specialises in the template, fabrication, and installation of stone worksurfaces. We work closely with kitchen studios, housebuilders and developers across the UK, delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team.
The Role
Working as part of our office and sales team, you will be responsible for preparing quotations and estimates, liaising with our sales teams, customers and suppliers to help ensure projects progress smoothly from enquiry through to installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce quotations for retailers and trade customers.
- Prepare detailed estimates from architects' drawings, plans, and kitchen furniture manufacturers' designs.
- Discuss project requirements with potential customers and suppliers.
- Work closely with the sales and office teams to ensure accurate pricing and efficient project coordination.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, customer information, and project details.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the estimating process.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently to tight deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a similar estimating, sales support, or administrative role.
- Experience working within the stone, kitchen, construction, or interiors industry.
- Understanding of kitchen planning and design.
- Experience interpreting plans and technical drawings.
