Full job description

Position Title: Member Services Coordinator
Contract: Part Time
Hours: 12 hours per week (09:30-12:30 Mon-Thu)
Salary: £8,100 per annum
Location: Home Based (with occasional travel to York office)

Overview
York Swimming Academy is looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive individual to join our operations team as Member Services Coordinator. This part-time role will act as a central point of contact for our members, supporting customer enquiries, class administration, waiting lists, taster lessons, and payment follow ups. Working closely with the Learn to Swim Manager, you will play an important role in delivering a positive customer experience for the 1,000+ members and families who attend our programmes each week. This is an ideal opportunity for somebody who enjoys customer service, administration, and working within a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Act as the central point of contact for customer enquiries via email and telephone.
Provide efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the learn to swim programmes.
Deliver a high standard of customer care to current and prospective members.
Support class management processes including movements, waiting lists, and trial lessons.
Assist with payment follow ups and customer retention activities.

Confident user of computer systems and e-mail platforms
