Job Overview

We are seeking a resilient, experienced, and highly motivated individual to join our team within the A&E Department at a busy hospitals. This is a fast-paced and demanding environment, requiring someone who can remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting clinical staff within the A&E department
Assisting with patient care and ensuring patient comfort and dignity
Managing high-pressure situations in a calm and professional manner
Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Following all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Assisting with general duties to ensure smooth running of the department

Requirements

Previous experience working in A&E or a similar acute healthcare setting (essential)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
Emotionally resilient and able to handle challenging behavior
Thick-skinned, confident, and capable of dealing with sensitive or distressing situations
Flexible and reliable with good attendance
ACT Certificates

What We’re Looking For

This role is suited to someone who is proactive, adaptable, and able to take initiative. You must be confident in handling difficult situations and comfortable working in a busy, sometimes unpredictable environment.

Pay: £12.71-£13.21 per hour
