Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through high-quality painting and decorating work, ensuring that every project meets our standards of excellence. Your expertise will help create welcoming, aesthetically pleasing environments for clients across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values precision and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes with precision and attention to detail.
Interpret project specifications and work closely with clients or project managers to achieve desired results.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by managing waste materials and adhering to safety protocols.
Use a variety of tools and equipment efficiently, including brushes, rollers, spray guns, scaffolding, and ladders.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates on progress or address any concerns promptly.
Complete projects within specified timeframes while maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Knowledge of different painting techniques, wallpaper installation, and surface preparation methods.
Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications accurately.
Valid driving license preferred to facilitate transportation between sites.
Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites is essential.
