Full job description

Overview
Labfax Ltd is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service & Sales Co-ordinator to support our growing operations. This role combines customer service excellence with sales administration, account management, and opportunity identification to help drive customer retention and business growth.

You will act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring orders are processed accurately, relationships are maintained, and new opportunities are identified.

Duties

Customer Service & Order Processing

Process customer orders accurately, ensuring all information is complete and up to date
Monitor order progress and proactively communicate any delays or issues
Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via phone and email
Provide Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation as requested
Maintain clear, consistent communication to deliver excellent customer service

Account Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with allocated customer accounts
Act as the primary contact for day-to-day customer requirements
Understand customer needs and ensure services consistently meet expectations
Support customer retention through proactive engagement and service excellence

Experience

Proven experience in sales administration or customer service roles is preferred.
Familiarity with CRM software, Sage, and other IT tools is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in a fast-paced environment will be advantageous.
Good computer literacy skills with a solid understanding of IT systems utilised within sales environments.
