About This Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised UK Partnerships Coordinator to play a key role in developing and supporting strategic partnerships across the UK. Working within the Directorate of External Engagement, you will help deliver the University's ambitious partnership agenda by building strong relationships with colleges and educational institutions, coordinating partnership activities, and supporting the growth of our UK partner network.
This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-focused professional who enjoys project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and making a tangible impact on student opportunities and educational collaboration.
Reporting to the Director of International and UK Partnerships, you will act as a central point of contact for partner institutions, supporting both existing and prospective partners. You will coordinate a range of partnership activities, manage key processes and documentation, and contribute to the successful delivery of the University's wider partnership strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the acquisition and onboarding of new UK partners.
- Coordinating partnership documentation, including Expressions of Interest, risk assessments, approvals and due diligence processes.
- Building and maintaining productive relationships with partner colleges and educational institutions.
- Supporting the development and delivery of partnership initiatives and events.
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on partnership activities and outcomes.
- Producing reports and providing updates to internal stakeholders.
- Facilitating collaboration across faculties, professional services and external partners.
- Supporting partner visits and wider university engagement activities.
About You
You will be a confident communicator with strong organisational skills and experience coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders.
You'll bring:
Essential
- Degree-level qualification (or equivalent).
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or equivalent).
- Experience of project coordination and relationship management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and administrative skills.
- Understanding of the education landscape, including Schools, Further Education and Higher Education sectors.
- Ability to coordinate activities across diverse teams and departments.
- Experience engaging with a range of stakeholders internally and externally.
- Strong organisational skills, flexibility and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Desirable
- Experience working within schools, colleges or a related educational environment.
- Knowledge of student recruitment, outreach or educational engagement activities.
- Understanding of issues affecting schools and colleges and the wider education sector.

Additional Information
This role involves regular travel across the West Midlands and throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays. Some evening and weekend working will be required to support partnership activities and events. A satisfactory DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
