Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Painter / Coach Body Repair Technician to join our automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert painting and body repair techniques. You will also serve as a coach, mentoring less experienced technicians and ensuring high-quality workmanship across all projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship are highly valued. Responsibilities

Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-up paint using spray guns and hand tools with precision and attention to detail.
Repair dents, scratches, rust damage, and structural issues using hand tools, power tools, and body filler materials.
Conduct heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components safely to facilitate repairs and painting processes.
Mentor junior technicians by demonstrating proper techniques, reviewing work quality, and providing constructive feedback to promote skill development.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety standards are met and workflow remains efficient.
Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and personal protective equipment usage.

Qualifications

Proven experience in automotive painting and body repair with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Mechanical knowledge of vehicle structures, systems, and repair procedures.
Proficiency with hand tools such as sanders, grinders, hammers, and pry bars.
Skilled in operating power tools including spray guns, drills, and pneumatic tools.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during repair tasks.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
