Job Overview

We are seeking a Fully Qualified Hairstylist to join our salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hairdressing, combined with excellent customer service skills. This role offers the opportunity to work in a professional environment where creativity and client satisfaction are at the forefront. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, including colouring, cutting, styling. A background in some salon management, mentoring junior staff, and upselling services will be highly advantageous. This position is fully paid and suitable for a motivated professional eager to develop their career within the beauty industry. Top salary and commission, pension and private health care package applies.

Responsibility

Provide a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling.
Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering tailored advice.
Manage front desk duties, including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client experience and maximise revenue.
Support store management in daily operations, ensuring the salon maintains high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in techniques such as cutting and colour application.
Assist with promotional activities to attract new clients and retain existing ones through excellent communication skills.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends, techniques, and products within the beauty industry.

Qualifications

Fully qualified hairstylist with recognised certification or diploma in hairdressing.
Proven experience in delivering hair services including colour correction.
Strong customer service skills with an ability to communicate effectively with clients of all ages.
Experience in store management or supervisory roles is desirable but not essential.
Ability to mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
Excellent upselling skills combined with professional communication abilities to promote salon services confidently.
Organised with good attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation are maintained at all times.
