Job Purpose
Momentum Training Solutions Ltd is expanding its digital learning platform, online educational product store, and e-commerce operations across the United Kingdom.
The E-Commerce Director / Digital Commerce Manager will be responsible for leading the strategic development, management and growth of the organisation's online sales channels.
The post holder will oversee all aspects of digital commerce including website performance, customer acquisition, conversion optimisation, CRM systems, digital marketing, logistics, supplier relationships, customer experience and revenue growth.
This role is critical to the organisation's commercial strategy and requires an experienced professional capable of driving significant growth within a competitive digital marketplace.
Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the company's e-commerce growth strategy.
- Identify new digital revenue opportunities.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity.
- Develop annual digital commerce business plans.
- Support long-term organisational growth objectives.
Online Sales Management
- Increase online sales revenue across all product categories.
- Develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Improve sales conversion rates.
- Monitor customer purchasing behaviour.
- Implement customer retention initiatives.
Website Management
- Oversee the performance of company websites and online stores.
- Improve user experience and website navigation.
- Manage website content and product listings.
- Monitor website analytics and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and e-commerce regulations.
Digital Marketing
- Manage SEO strategies.
- Lead PPC advertising campaigns.
- Oversee social media advertising.
- Develop email marketing campaigns.
- Improve customer acquisition performance.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Manage CRM systems and customer databases.
- Develop customer segmentation strategies.
- Implement automated customer engagement campaigns.
- Monitor customer lifetime value and retention metrics.
Operations and Fulfilment
- Oversee order processing systems.
- Manage supplier relationships.
- Coordinate logistics and fulfilment processes.
- Improve operational efficiency.
- Resolve customer service escalations.
Data Analytics
- Monitor KPIs and sales performance.
- Produce management reports.
- Analyse website traffic and customer behaviour.
- Use data insights to support business decisions.
Compliance and Governance
- Ensure compliance with consumer protection legislation.
- Maintain GDPR compliance.
- Ensure online trading compliance.
- Support organisational risk management processes.
Leadership Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Lead digital commerce operations.

Essential Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, E-Commerce or related discipline; or
- Equivalent professional experience at senior level.
