Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Gymnastics Coach to join our coaching team and play a key role in developing gymnasts of all ages and abilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about coaching and wants to make a genuine difference to young people, whether supporting a child’s first steps in gymnastics or helping squad gymnasts achieve their potential.
You will deliver engaging, high-quality coaching across our preschool, recreational and squad programmes, creating a safe, encouraging and enjoyable experience for every gymnast. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help foster confidence, resilience and progression, whilst maintaining high standards of safety, wellbeing and inclusivity.

What we’re looking for:

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics coaching sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Provide constructive feedback to gymnasts to support their development and confidence
- Organise training programmes that promote progression and skill acquisition
- Maintain equipment and ensure the training area is clean, organised, and safe for use
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages participation and enjoyment of gymnastics
- Monitor attendance and progress of gymnasts, maintaining accurate records of achievements and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with programme coordinators to develop new coaching initiatives and activities
Requirements
- Recognised Level 2 or Level 3 gymnastics coaching qualification
- Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly within gymnastics or similar disciplines
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and inspire participants of varying ages and abilities
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in programme planning and record keeping
- Good communication skills, able to engage effectively with gymnasts, parents, and colleagues
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous professional development
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required
- A valid first aid qualification is desirable but not essential; training can be provided if necessary
- First Aid and Safeguarding training
