Dark Horse is on its way to having the best SEO team in the country. As part of this process we want some home grown talent alongside our record signings.
To fit in you’ll need to have the thirst for knowledge of a scholar, the focus of a sniper, and the determination of a marathoner.
Apprentify are hiring on behalf of our client.
The successful candidate will join our expanding SEO team, reporting directly to the Deputy Head of SEO. You want to kickstart your career in digital and have a skill and passion for writing.
You’ll be comfortable following content briefs and you’re happy getting stuck into both writing and proofreading. You’ll be ready to learn new skills and follow guidance for research tasks. You also have the attention to detail required to learn how content is uploaded to various websites.
Most importantly, you’ll want to contribute to delivering the best possible SEO results for our clients.
Whatever your background is, we’re looking for someone curious and proactive who wants to grow with us - whether that leads into a content-focused or a more technical role within the SEO team. Over time, you’ll build the confidence to make recommendations, spot opportunities, report on performance, and contribute to wider SEO strategy.

We are based in Altrincham so you can hob nob at the trendy market and be all Cheshire set. It is pretence of course; we are still on the tram map. It’s Manchester, however you cut it. You are never too far from rats and spice whatever quarter you are in.
Entry requirements
- Able to demonstrate your ability to produce great content (especially written!)
- Level 2 or higher qualification in English
- Ability to follow briefs, content guidelines, and tone of voice requirements
- Proofreading skills
- An attitude to never stop learning - Be comfortable asking questions, taking on feedback, and asking for help if you need it
Training to be provided
Training will be provided through The Juice Academy, part of the Apprentify group.

You will be completing the Content Creator Level 3 Apprenticeship standard, of which you will develop content to maximise audience engagement in order to promote, sell and market an organisations products and services. Whether the apprentice is engaged in social media for developing a brand, written content to generate leads or creating videos to maximise engagement, they develop key fundamentals in data and insights, SEO and distribution, to underpin their knowledge and skills to deliver ROI.

- Content planning, development and creation
- Principles of SEO, web analytics and social media metrics
13 month programme, including a 3 month End Point Assessment.
