Job Summary:

Hernandez Road Cargo Ltd is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to oversee transportation, freight, and distribution operations while ensuring efficient service delivery and operational excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader who enjoys optimising logistics processes, managing supply chain activities, and leading high-performing teams. What you'll do:

Manage day-to-day logistics, transportation, and distribution operations.
Coordinate freight movement, route planning, warehousing, and delivery schedules.
Develop operational strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, customer service, and transport teams to achieve operational goals.
Monitor logistics performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and business partners.
Manage logistics budgets, operational resources, and performance reporting.
Ensure compliance with transport regulations, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
Analyse operational data and recommend improvements that enhance service delivery.
Lead, mentor, and develop logistics teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and operational excellence.

Requirements:

Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight operations, warehouse management, or a related field is beneficial.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of logistics operations, inventory management, fleet coordination, or distribution processes is beneficial.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant qualifications or equivalent professional experience are welcomed.
