We’re looking for a Business Services Co-ordinator to join us in the North Region! You will be part of our team of trailblazers who lead positive change by being future‑focused, identifying and building on new ways of working, and adapting the technology we have available to provide a value‑for‑money, effective, efficient, and consistent service. Internally, you will be known as a 'Business Services Co-Ordinator (office based)'.
Salary: £19,328.40 per annum pro rated (£27,612 per annum full-time equivalent)
Contract Duration: Permanent
Working Pattern: You will work 26.25 hours per week (0.7FTE). This is a role that fits into the bigger jigsaw of regional business services, and we can be flexible about the hours you will work.

What it's like to work here:The North Region of the National Trust is large, spanning from the Cheshire-Staffordshire border in the South of the region, to the Scottish borders in the North. Our teams can live and work from anywhere within or even beyond our regional boundaries.
Your contracted place of work will be the Grasmere Hub, The Hollens. What you'll be doing:The National Trust is a busy organisation with a lot going on at all times - you can guarantee that no day is the same, so you’ll need to enjoy variety and working at pace. You will be part of a team that provides specialist support to our Regional Director, Assistant Directors, and internal teams. You’ll help us plan ahead and prepare for future activity, and will be willing to be an active, enthusiastic part of our team.
You'll always champion best practice when it comes to service, and will be confident challenging the norm when you think there's a better way of doing something. In any given day you could be helping to arrange a region-wide event, liaising with external partners, or looking at ways to review and improve a process.
You'll connect and form strong relationships with other Regional Business Services Co-ordinators, as well as being an active member of the National Business Services community.
Who we're looking forWe'd love to hear from you if you’re:
- skilled in customer service and stakeholder support
- able to communicate and collaborate effectively
- experienced at maintaining records or managing information systems
- a skilled IT user, proficient in the advanced Microsoft Suite, with a willingness to learn and explore new technology and systems, as well as share this knowledge with others
- strong administrative skills
- highly organised, with experience of providing high-level support provision, in particular around the ability to co-ordinate multiple diaries in an agile and proactive way
- a process thinker with an enquiring mind, keen explore the intricacies of how things work and what we can do to improve them
