Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse/Trainee Dental nurse to join our dental team on a Part time basis .

The individual will play a vital role in supporting dentists during patient treatments, ensuring a high standard of patient care and maintaining smooth clinical operations.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about healthcare and committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Duties

Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials
Providing excellent patient care by explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns
Ensuring the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and maintaining organised appointment schedules
Supporting patients before, during, and after treatment to ensure comfort and reassurance
Maintaining the clinical area in a tidy, organised manner to promote infection control standards
Assisting with administrative tasks such as updating patient information and managing stock levels of dental supplies
Communicating effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse Preferred or a Trainee Dental Nurse will be considered.
Knowledge of patient care procedures within a dental setting is advantageous
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is preferred
Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients and team members
Organisational skills are important for managing multiple tasks efficiently and maintaining accurate records
A caring attitude combined with professionalism is vital to providing outstanding patient support
