iiS Health – The Cheshire Hand Clinic is seeking a professional, organised and patient-focused Patient Liaison & Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.

As the first point of contact for many patients, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience within the UK's first dedicated private hospital specialising in hand and wrist conditions. This position combines patient-facing responsibilities with administrative support and requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of service.

The successful candidate will act as a vital link between patients, consultants and the wider clinical team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the hospital.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Support patients throughout their healthcare journey, ensuring a positive experience from initial enquiry through to follow-up care
Manage appointment bookings, confirmations and clinic schedules
Answer telephone calls, emails and patient enquiries promptly and professionally
Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with data protection and confidentiality requirements
Liaise with consultants, clinicians and administrative colleagues to support efficient patient pathways
Process correspondence, scan and upload documents, and assist with general administrative duties
Assist with invoicing and payment processing where required
Help maintain an organised, professional and welcoming reception environment
Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and patient services

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an administrative, reception, patient liaison or customer service role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional telephone manner and strong written communication skills
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
Experience within a healthcare, dental, optical or private clinical environment would be advantageous
Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and administrative software systems
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Positive, proactive and professional approach to work
Commitment to delivering outstanding patient service
