Full job description

We have an exciting opportunity arisen at our friendly, pro-active G.P Practice. Our Practice is fast-paced and we seek an enthusiastic and committed practice receptionist to join our existing team. You will be working with our experienced supportive team.

Hours of work

Part time . 26.5 hours per week. Monday 1pm - 6pm Tuesday 7.30am -6pm, , Friday 7.30am - 6.30pm. Please note our reception team hours can range between 8.00am - 6.30pm Monday - Friday.

It is essential that all candidates must be flexible with regards to working hours as holiday/sickness cover will be required in line with the needs of the role.

8 Doctor Practice along with 1 clinical practitioner

· Fully computerized

· ASKMYGP appointment system

· Forward thinking practice

Our mission is to provide our patients with a high standard of primary care services and this role is supporting our team to deliver this care.

You will be part of our long standing receptionist team. Tasks include:

Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to all patients/visitors to the practice
Process appointment requests from patients via Ask My GP
Answer all patient queries in relation to their needs and divert calls when necessary
Co-ordinate information to patients following the results from tests arriving back at the practice once reviewed by the G.P
Liaise with patients wishing the see the nursing team.
Ensure all scanned data is attached to the correct patient
Receive and make calls as required
Along with other administrative duties that form part of the role

The role is also subject to satisfactory References and DBS check and the practice decision is final on what is considered acceptable.

Interviews will be held throughout June and July. Successful candidates will be contacted prior to this date.
