The Role
We are looking for a temporary welder to join our team. You will be responsible for the welding of set jobs ranging from materials such as mild steel, aluminium and stainless. Mig and tig experience will enable you to complete your given tasks.
This role is crucial in ensuring that every product meets quality standards while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. You will play a key part in our production process and work closely with the wider workshop and production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate parts.
- Maintain, clean, and monitor equipment to ensure ongoing performance.
- Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
- Support other workshop tasks as required.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
Working Hours
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday.
- As this is a temporary role we offer flexibility on hours. For example, early hours start to compliment our existing senior fabricator so you can have afternoons free.
- Additional hours may occasionally be required, with either payment or time off in lieu provided at the company’s discretion.
