About the Role
Our award-winning culinary team, led by our Executive Chef, are the hub of our business and have a new opportunity for Head Steward to join them. You will be responsible for all of our kitchen porters ensuring all back of house areas are kept clean and tidy and maintain kitchen hygiene standards.

Your responsibilities will include;

Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, pots and pans, glassware and china, silverware, floors, walls, food preparation areas, storage areas and back of house hallways and stairs
Create and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for all kitchen areas and equipment.
Comply with hazardous chemical and training programs.
Maintain inventory in all kitchens of kitchen equipment including but not limited to cleaning supplies, detergents, crockery, glassware and equipment stores.
Develop an ongoing waste management programme to ensure optimal levels of recycling within area of responsibility.
Reward and recognize high performance to maintain staff morale and high standards.
Ensure standards of work and a safe and respectful working environment are maintained in line with our HOME values.
Utilise Quinyx , our time and attendance system to schedule Kitchen Porters for each of the kitchens based on forecasted business levels.

To be successful in this role you will have the following qualities and experience:

Create and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for all kitchen areas and equipment.
Comply with hazardous chemical and training programs.
Maintain inventory in all kitchens of kitchen equipment including but not limited to cleaning supplies, detergents, crockery, glassware and equipment stores.

Hours
Permanent, Full Time 40hrs over 5 days per week

Salary
£32,637.54 per annum

Overtime available as per the needs of the business paid at £15.69 per hour.
