Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to oversee entry points at various venues. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, managing access control, and ensuring the safety of all patrons and staff. This role requires excellent observational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to security standards. The position is paid and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment requiring a proactive approach to safety and security.

Duties

Monitor and control access to premises, ensuring only authorised individuals enter
Conduct regular patrols of the venue to maintain safety and security standards
Utilise surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to observe activity and identify potential issues
Implement loss prevention strategies by recognising suspicious behaviour and preventing theft or disorder
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary
Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner
Record incidents accurately in reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
Assist with crowd management during events or busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
1 year minimum experience
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and conflict resolution skills
First aid certification is highly advantageous
Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
Strong communication skills, a good level of English, both verbal and written
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events
Professional appearance and demeanour with a customer-focused attitude
