Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring all health and safety standards are upheld. Previous experience in a bar is preferred, but full training will be provided to the right applicant. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a lively and dynamic atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
Take orders accurately and handle cash payments
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and creating a welcoming environment

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
candidates must be over 18
Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Knowledge of bar operations is desirable but not mandatory
A professional attitude with a focus on delivering high standards of service
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during peak hours as required
