Full job description

Bookkeeper / Accounts Support – Flexible Part-Time Role

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to support our business with day-to-day accounts and financial reporting.

This is a flexible part-time position, which could be anything from 1 day per week upwards, depending on experience and availability. The role may suit someone who is semi-retired, retired but looking to stay active, or someone looking for flexible working hours.

Main duties will include:

Preparing financial business reports
Processing payroll
VAT returns and submissions
Companies House filings and administration
Maintaining accounts using Sage 50 Accounts
General bookkeeping and accounts support
Assisting management with financial information and reporting as required

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience
Good knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts
Experience with payroll and VAT
A strong understanding of business financial reporting
Good attention to detail
A reliable, organised and confidential approach

This role offers flexibility and would be ideal for someone experienced who is looking for a manageable, part-time position within a friendly business environment.

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
