Plumbing & Heating Engineer – Local Work, Great Team, Van & Benefits

Join McRoberts Plumbing & Heating, a family-run company based in Kilmarnock, serving Ayrshire and the south side of Glasgow.

We’ve got a rare opening for a reliable, all-round Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our growing team.

What you could be doing

Boiler installations, servicing, and repairs (mix of private and commercial clients)
small plumbing and heating works
Local work – no long-distance travel
38 hours a week, Mon–Fri (8:30–5:00)
Optional overtime + standby rota (1 in 7 weeks) Out of hours work only for our existing clients usually not too busy. Payment on top of advertised salary
Role can be tailored to your strengths be them installation, service and repair or a mix

What You’ll Need

CCN1 & CENWAT (minimum preferred although can be booked through us if lapsed )
Ideally completed a plumbing apprenticeship
Full UK driving licence
Tidy, punctual and customer-focused
Extra qualifications or skills beneficial for example - Bathroom fitting, tiling, wet wall, OFTEC, F-Gas, Air Source, commercial gas, electrical are all a big plus
