Job Overview
Urgently Needing a fitter as soon as possible.

We are seeking a reliable experienced fitter to join our growing team at Carpet Monster

Self-Employed / Subcontract Skilled Flooring Fitter.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing various types of flooring in residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of flooring installation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently as a sub contract .

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for flooring installation specifications
Cut, shape, and lay flooring materials such as laminate, hardwood, vinyl, or carpet using own hand tools and power tools
Ensure all flooring is fitted accurately and securely, adhering to safety standards and building codes
Maintain a clean work environment by organising tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly

Qualifications

Proven experience in flooring installation is preferred
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials.
Must have own Van and tools
Reliable and take pride in their work.
