Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dry Cleaner to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning and finishing services for a variety of garments and textiles. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Previous hotel experience is considered a valuable asset, as it demonstrates familiarity with specialised cleaning procedures and customer service excellence. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to detail-oriented work and professional growth.

Responsibilities

Operate dry cleaning equipment safely and efficiently to clean garments and textiles.
Inspect items for stains, damages, or special handling instructions, ensuring all are addressed appropriately.
Handle delicate fabrics with care, adhering to specific cleaning protocols.
Press, finish, and package cleaned items to meet quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their requests and offering professional advice when needed.
Keep accurate records of items processed, including any special instructions or notes.
Follow all safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a dry cleaning environment is preferred; hotel experience is considered a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills with a professional attitude towards customers and colleagues.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy or bulky items safely.
