What You’ll Bring:
We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications and personal attributes:
Essential Requirements:
- Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding/Door Supervision).
- Strong knowledge of public safety and security protocols.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Teamwork and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of situational awareness.
- Basic computer and hand-held device skills.
Additional Requirements:
- A good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.
- The ability to pass enhanced background checks.
- Over 18 years of age.
- Full UK/EU driving license (preferred but not essential).
- Candidates must be UK/EU citizens.
Your Role:
As an SIA Security Guard/Door Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring premises to ensure safety and security.
- Controlling access to venues, checking identification, and managing entry points.
- Diffusing potential conflicts and resolving situations professionally.
- Performing regular patrols and keeping detailed incident reports.
- Protecting staff, clients, and members of the public from potential threats.
- Providing excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Responding swiftly to alarms or emergencies.
