Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our team. The successful candidate will be based within a precast concrete factory, responsible for setting up shutters for pre-cast concrete moulds. This role requires the ability to read technical drawings to ensure panels are set up with the correct measurements and specifications, and the ability to work safely. The ideal applicant will have experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting. A valid driving licence is desirable. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to diverse projects within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Constructing shutters based on technical drawings for precast construction.
Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks according to specifications.
Handling heavy lifting of materials and equipment to ensure smooth workflow while adhering to safety standards.
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure project deadlines are met and quality standards maintained.
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment at all times.

Experience

Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar carpentry or construction role.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools.
Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction processes and machinery operation.
Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various projects.
