We are a well-established private dental practice looking for an experienced Dental Nurse who enjoys working as part of a supportive team and has an interest in combining chairside nursing with reception and compliance responsibilities.
The ideal person will be a friendly all-rounder who enjoys variety, is warm and approachable, patient-focused, communicates with kindness and professionalism, and takes pride in delivering an outstanding experience for both patients and colleagues.
We are a calm, prevention-focused practice with a strong emphasis on high-quality patient care, supporting nervous patients, and creating a respectful working environment where both patients and team members feel genuinely valued.
This is a varied role combining clinical nursing with reception and compliance duties, depending on practice needs and your strengths. It offers the opportunity to develop your skills whilst becoming an integral part of a close-knit and supportive team.

Experience & Skills:
- Experience with R4 dental software preferred
- Strong telephone and customer service skills
- Confidence managing appointments, patient records and payments
- Good written and verbal communication
- Private dentistry experience desirable
- Knowledge of Denplan Essentials welcomed, although full training will be provided

Working pattern:
We operate a thoughtfully structured working pattern designed to support a calm, organised and high-quality clinical environment whilst promoting genuine work-life balance.
Total contracted hours: 30 hours 30 minutes
Monday: 12:45pm to 5:15pm
Tuesday: 8:45am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm to 5:15pm
Wednesday: 8:45am to 2:15pm
Thursday: 8:45am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm to 5:15pm
Friday: 8:45am to 2:15pm
We ask team members to be punctual and ready at the start of their paid time to begin preparation and set-up, ensuring each clinical day starts in a calm and organised way, with a brief opportunity to enjoy a coffee and settle in before patients arrive.

Salary:
£14.00 to £15.50 per hour, dependent on experience and skills
Higher rates may be considered for candidates with:
- Dual nursing, reception and compliance experience
- Strong private dentistry background

Prior to commencement, where appropriate, we offer:
- Opportunity for 1 to 2 shadowing sessions to provide a gentle introduction to the practice and team
- Structured induction and onboarding
- Paid trial period of approximately 5 to 10 working days to ensure the role is the right fit for both you and the practice
Pay: £14.00-£15.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
