Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pot Washer to join our busy hospitality team in <LOCATION>. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, ensuring that all crockery, cutlery, and kitchenware are hygienically cleaned and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a positive attitude, and a passion for supporting high standards of food service. This position offers valuable experience within a dynamic restaurant or hotel setting and is suitable for individuals with a background in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality. Responsibilities

Efficiently wash and sanitise dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and free from residue before returning to storage or use.
Maintain cleanliness of the pot washing area, including sinks, work surfaces, and surrounding floors.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods.
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards within the kitchen environment.
Manage waste disposal responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are adhered to.
Support other kitchen staff with general cleaning duties as needed to maintain a smooth workflow.

Skills

Previous experience in food preparation or working within a restaurant or hotel environment is desirable.
Knowledge of basic kitchen hygiene practices and safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
A positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
