Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clients new branch of a domiciliary and live in healthcare service that is part of a nationwide group . The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in domiciliary care and will work alongside the branch owner. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in patient care, dementia and Alzheimer's care, and working with individuals with disabilities. The Registered Manager will ensure the delivery of high-quality care services, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and foster a supportive environment for both staff and clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the overall operation of the care service, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements - CQC, company polices and procedures.
Supervise and support staff carers, promoting a positive team environment.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including various tyes of care, and working with individuals with disabilities.
Oversee medication administration, patient care procedures, and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed.
Maintain accurate documentation of client records and ensure compliance with health standards.
Collaborate with external healthcare providers for specialised services.
Manage recruitment, staff training, resource allocation, and optimise operational efficiency to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

Proven experience in senior care settings such as home care / domiciliary and live in care.
Demonstrable supervisory or team management experience within healthcare environments.
Experience in managing medication administration processes safely and effectively.
Strong understanding of risk assessment, safeguarding, and related healthcare practices.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to supervise multiple departments simultaneously.
Compassionate approach towards residents’ needs with a commitment to delivering person-centred care.
Relevant qualifications in healthcare management ie: Level 5 is needed.
