Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning and student support services, ensuring an excellent student experience across the University within a dynamic and inclusive environment.

You will be responsible for:

Providing administrative and clerical support across teaching, learning and student administration activities
Acting as a first point of contact for enquiries, offering guidance and support while escalating where appropriate
Maintaining accurate student records and ensuring high standards of data quality
Supporting meetings, events, and processes including room bookings, correspondence, and documentation
Working flexibly across teams to support service delivery and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

Essential Criteria

Experience of working with administrative processes
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of people
Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment
Strong attention to detail with good numeracy and problem-solving skills
Digital literacy and experience using standard IT systems

Desirable Criteria

Experience working in a customer service environment
Experience supporting students or working in an education setting
Experience maintaining records or working with databases
Experience supporting meetings or events
Understanding of higher education or student services
