Full job description

We are seeking a versatile, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to take lead on business expansion, development and rapid implementation strategies. The role has arisen as a result of our steady growth and a willingness by the company to invest in achieving our long term business objectives. We are a successful company with appropriate relationships and franchising models in place with our current franchisors with specialist expertise in the hospitality sector particularly pizza take aways.

You will be expected to have working knowledge of planning, identifying and implementing new projects as part of our ambitious but realistic expansion plans. You will be working with and reporting to the senior director.

A suitable candidate will be expected to undertake the following duties.

Key Responsibilities:

· Implement current growth strategies involving project development life cycle:-

o identification of business expansion opportunities to open new stores

o Area identification with market research

o Budgeting and ensuring completion of project life cycle within allocated and approved budgets

o Site identification, procurement and liaising with third parties including, landlords, professionals and local authorities to ensure that legal interests are protected

o Supervision and Management of site renovation, equipment installations and procuring licences

o Health and safety compliance

o Ensuing full compliance with the franchisor’s requirements

o Procuring working arrangements and relationship development for the particular site with third party partners at a senior managerial level

o Key Staff recruitment, trainings and contingency planning at managerial level

o Contribute to the development of sales strategies and setting of sales target across B2B channels and delivery models

o Monitoring and advising the directors on competition and market trends in the QSR business model

o Overall project life cycle responsibility to ensure success covering initiation, planning, execution and performance controls

· Develop and implement new expansion opportunities involving complete project development life cycle

· Develop and ensure implementation of project targets from sales and growth perspectives by taking overall senior management level responsibility for the projects assigned from time to time.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new partners.

· Development and implementation of effective marketing and brand enhancement strategies

· Monitor projects performance and develop and implement strategies for improvement

· Work closely with the Directors to support and take responsibility for senior management level decisions.

· Representing the company in board meetings, inspections, supervision arrangements and other compliance related tasks specially to monitor the performance of child companies

· Other related duties

Requirements:

· Minimum 3 years of experience in a business development role or senior sales and managerial level roles with reasonable exposure and understanding of the hospitality sector with particular emphasis on food take away type business models.

· Proven experience in successfully achieving growth, sales targets and increasing revenue.

· Strong communication and negotiation skills.

· Ability to develop positive relationships with third party partners.

· Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.

· Degree level qualification in a related discipline is considered necessary for this position
