Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a dedicated team, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. The Floor Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating food production and service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Duties

Lead and supervise the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, serving, and presentation to uphold high-quality standards.
Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks efficiently, and monitor performance to foster a motivated team environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas.
Assist in training new team members on service procedures, safety protocols, and culinary standards.
Handle customer enquiries or complaints promptly to guarantee excellent guest experiences.
Coordinate with suppliers and manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of ingredients and supplies.
Monitor operational costs and optimise resource utilisation without compromising quality.
Support promotional activities and contribute ideas for menu development or special events.

Qualifications

Proven management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting, ideally with supervising responsibilities.
Extensive background in food production, cooking, serving, and food preparation.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive working environment.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a culinary environment.
Experience in hospitality management or restaurant operations is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Previous barista experience is advantageous but not essential.
A professional attitude combined with excellent communication skills.
