Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with expertise in MIG welding and sheet metal work. This role involves working with various materials and tools to create high-quality components, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques to fabricate components according to specifications.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
Conduct fabrication tasks including the assembly of metal structures and components.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process, applying mechanical knowledge as necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding, particularly MIG welding, with a solid understanding of various welding techniques.
Familiarity with fabrication processes, sheet metal work, and assembly practices.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the fabrication industry.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and layouts.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; we value skill development and training opportunities for the right candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
