Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Supervisor to lead and manage our retail team effectively. The successful candidate will oversee daily store operations, ensure excellent customer service, and drive sales performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills and a passion for retail management. The Retail Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining high standards of organisation, merchandising, and team motivation to optimise store success.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily retail operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the store.
Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
Manage staff scheduling, training programmes, and performance appraisals.
Oversee merchandising activities to ensure visual standards are maintained and stock levels are optimised.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally via phone or in person.
Analyse sales data to identify trends and implement strategies to maximise revenue.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Assist in stock management, including ordering, receiving deliveries, and inventory control.
Foster a positive shopping environment that encourages repeat business and customer loyalty.

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within a retail environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
Demonstrable experience in sales management, merchandising, and administrative duties.
Proficiency in managing time efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
Previous experience in team management, supervising staff, or retail operations is essential.
Organisational skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving are vital for success in this role.
