Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Assistant / Handyman to support the Maintenance Manager in maintaining the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and systems to a high standard, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the hotel
Complete repairs efficiently and report major faults
Respond to guest and department maintenance requests promptly
Support health & safety, fire, and emergency procedures
Assist with stock control and energy-saving initiatives
Liaise with contractors when required
Provide cover in absence of Supervisor or Maintenance Manager

About You

Previous maintenance, engineering, or facilities experience preferred
Basic electrical, plumbing, or mechanical knowledge
Good problem-solving skills
Positive attitude with strong customer service skills
Flexible to work the odd weekend if needed
