Full job description

Warehouse Operative benefits:

30-minute paid lunch break
Agreed overtime paid at time and a quarter
Hours of Work: 08:00 to 17:00 Monday – Friday (flexibility required during peak season)
30 days holiday per year which includes bank holidays
Uniform provided after completion of probationary period

Overview:

Excellent opportunity to join the UK’s largest manufacturer of towbars and towing accessories. You will get to enjoy a continually improving, fast-paced, rewarding environment. Reporting to the Management team where you will support and help with the day-to-day running of the warehouse.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Maintaining Health and Safety via compliance with risk assessment guidelines ensuring that any issues are brought to the attention of the Operations Manager
Reporting any defects found on site in relation to the product, equipment or facilities to your direct Line Manager.
Maintaining a clean and tidy appearance
Being polite and courteous to your colleagues, customers, visitors and visiting drivers, and all other site staff.
Carrying out physical stock counts in a structured and accurate manner capturing all checks made and any discrepancies found. Adjustments to stock levels to be made on the WMS as and when necessary
Ensuring that all administrative duties are carried out with efficiency and professionalism, to the required Tow-Trust standards and within timescales.
Keeping accurate records of any adjustments made on the system that can be presented to customer or the management team.
Keeping accurate records of any Customer Returns and prepare reports that can be presented to customer or the management team.
Order picking using handheld scanners and mobile printers.
Operation of Medium Level order Pickers (MLOPs)
Operation of Powered Pallet Trucks (PPTs)

Ideal attributes and skills:

Good communication skills with customers and managers
Experience using hand held scanners and portable printers
Excellent timekeeping and attendance
Meticulous attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.15 per hour
