Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic School Photographer to join our creative team. This role involves capturing high-quality images of students in a school environment, ensuring a positive experience for pupils and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong photography skills and an eye for detail.

Duties

Photograph students during school portrait sessions, ensuring clear, well-composed images that meet quality standards
Manage the entire photography process from setting up equipment to capturing images efficiently within allocated timeframes
Collaborate with school staff to coordinate schedules and ensure smooth operation of photo sessions
Conduct routine inspections of vehicle to ensure it is in good working order – report any maintenance needs immediately
On-site marketing and promoting new products and services
Working in other departments when needed to maintain a healthy timebank and support the business during heavy workloads

Experience

Proven experience in professional photography, preferably within an educational or event setting
Have a flexible and adaptable attitude
Strong attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults
Strong organisational skills
Excellent time management and punctuality
Willingness to learn
Be happy to travel and have a full UK driving license
Be flexible with working times, as early start can be required

This position offers a rewarding opportunity for creative individuals passionate about photography. Applicants should be organised, adaptable, and eager to contribute their artistic talents to enhance the school's visual identity.

The position is a 30 hour contract
