Job description: Customer Service Assistant
Golden Cap Holiday Park – Seatown Chideock.
Can you help to give our customers a fabulous holiday experience at our stunning holiday park, situated right on the Jurassic Coast, where being by the sea every day will be the norm. It’s all about the experience – we welcome our customer with 5-star service & help to create the best holidays from start to finish. We are now looking for a Customer Service Assistant (SPAR Shop Team - including our Chideock village store, on park Pizzeria Support and Housekeeping duties) to join our team! Golden Cap provides holidays in accommodation such as Lodges, Caravan Holiday Homes and Glamping pods, it has a Touring area as well as Holiday Homes for sale.
The duties for this varied role include, but are not limited to:·
answering queries, making bookings and greeting customers face to face
· liaising with our customers on the phone and online· giving our customers helpful information about the park and surrounding areas
· welcoming customers into the shop, operating the till systems and helping them find what they are looking for
· helping to look after the shop including unpacking deliveries, pricing goods, cleaning and stock rotation
· if our customers need help ensure we give great customer satisfaction by finding out the answers. We also need to record any comments and concerns where needed
· liaising with our other team members in our Grounds and Maintenance, Housekeeping and Sales Teams
· assisting with paperwork to ensure compliance with legislation (e.g. health & safety checks)
This is a seasonal role running until the end of October 2026. Training is provided for all aspects of the job. We are happy to discuss the exact working pattern, but the job is on a holiday park so working at weekends, during the evening and during school holidays are an important part of the job. We are looking for someone to work 5 days, 40 hours per week but hours can be discussed for the right candidate. Some experience of working on a holiday park, or within hospitality or retail, would be useful - but not essential. Wages are paid hourly and on a four-week schedule.
