We are looking for proactive and confident individuals to join our Student Solutions Centre (SSC) as a Student Centre Assistant (Finance). The Student Solutions Centre operates in a busy, student-facing environment and staff are expected to work collaboratively on site to assist service delivery, peak periods and operational priorities.
The post-holder will be part of the Student Life team based within Aston’s Student Solutions Centre (SSC). This is a hybrid role, with the majority of working time expected to be on campus to support frontline student services and ensure consistent face-to-face assistance for students.
Working closely with the Finance Operations team, particularly Accounts Receivable (AR), the role will provide high-quality frontline support and guidance to students on tuition fee payments, instalment plans, sanctions, sponsorship, refunds and student finance-related queries. The post-holder will play a key role in ensuring students receive timely, accurate and supportive advice, while appropriately escalating more complex financial matters when required.

The role would particularly suit recent graduates or individuals looking to develop valuable professional experience in a fast-paced student-facing role.
