Full job description

Do you have previous experience working as Warehouse Operative? Are you immediately available and looking for a new opportunity? Do you want guaranteed hours each week, so you know you have a work/life balance?

Here at GXO we are looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives at our Franke site inMerlin Park, Birmingham.

This is a full time, permanent role.

You will be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours between 10:00 – 18:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Accurately picking of customer orders
Loading and offloading deliveries using counterbalance
Safely operating machines / equipment as per training according to Standard Operating Procedures
Carrying out stock checks and maintaining inventory accuracy
Using Warehouse Management systems
Complying with agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal working environment and consistent quality standards

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Counterbalance licence desirable
Proven experience of driving counterbalance/ reach truck
Warehouse experience and understanding of inventory processes
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach
Computer literacy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and adaptability
Commitment to Health & Safety and maintaining operational standards
