This Isn't Just Another Workshop Job...
We're looking for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving the jobs that other workshops can't.
You'll be carrying out a wide range of technical and mechanical work, including diagnostics, timing chains, timing belts, engine repairs, cylinder head gaskets, engine strip downs and major mechanical repairs.
This is an opportunity to join one of the best-equipped independent Bosch Car Service Centres in the North East, working alongside an experienced team with some of the latest workshop technology available.

- Employ 46 members of staff
- Have a workshop team of 11 technicians and 5 experienced service advisors
- Retail 120–150 vehicles every month
- Operate a busy Bosch Car Service Centre
- Carry out retail and trade work

The Equipment
You'll have access to some of the latest diagnostic equipment, including:
- Bosch KTS
- Autel Ultra
- Autologic
- Snap-on
- Topdon
Giving you the tools to diagnose faults properly rather than spending hours guessing.
The Type of Work
This isn't just servicing and MOT repairs. You'll regularly be involved with:
- Engine management faults
- Timing belts & chains
- Cylinder head gasket replacement
- Engine strip downs
- Turbocharger replacement
- Clutch & gearbox repairs
- Suspension repairs
- Electrical fault finding
- Petrol, diesel, hybrid & EV servicing
We're looking for someone who enjoys technical challenges and takes genuine satisfaction from solving difficult faults.
Who We're Looking For
You'll be an experienced technician with strong diagnostic ability and excellent all-round knowledge across multiple vehicle manufacturers.
You'll be confident working independently and carrying out major mechanical repairs to a high standard.

As part of Bosch Car Service, you'll have access to ongoing Bosch technical training, helping you develop your skills and stay up to date with the latest vehicle technology.

Hours & Benefits
Full Time | 40 Hours Per Week | Monday to Friday
Flexible working hours are available, provided your contracted 40 hours are completed each week.
No weekends.

£45,000 Basic Salary + Bonus
