Summary

We are a busy, inclusive school and work hard to engage all children in their learning to develop their independence and resilience.

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 who is interested in developing their own career and wants the opportunity, and is committed to, training for the progression to fulfil a TA3 role.

The successful applicant will:

Be committed to train for a TA3 qualification
Work under the direction of the class teacher
Work using their own initiative
Commit to CPD opportunities
Commit to extra-curricular activities where possible

Previous experience of working in a school is desirable and we are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and highly motivated Teaching Assistant with high expectations of the children and themselves.

You will join a team that is passionately committed to harnessing the educational potential of all our children whilst encouraging them to engage in daily life with increased confidence, self-esteem and independence.

You will work 27.5 hours per week, Term Time only plus 1 week (additional hours may be available with regards to supporting extra-curricular activities).

The salary range is £25,989 - £28,142 full time equivalent (actual pro rata salary range is £16,762 - £18,151.

Visits to school are actively encouraged, please telephone the school to make an appointment. Please note these visits will be within the school day to allow applicants to see how the school works.
