About Us

Townfields Saddlers Ltd is one of the UK’s leading equestrian and country retailers with over 60 years of heritage within the industry.

Based in Allesley, Coventry, we operate both a successful retail store and a growing ecommerce business, serving customers across the UK through townfields.com and our social media platforms.

We are now looking for a creative and ambitious individual to help take the Townfields social media presence to the next level.

The Role

We are looking for a creative, confident, and highly motivated Social Media & Content Executive to join the Townfields team on a part-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who is passionate about social media, content creation, and brand growth to take ownership of an established and growing digital presence within the equestrian industry.

With over 80,000 followers across our social media platforms, we are looking for somebody who can bring fresh ideas, creativity, energy, and confidence to continue building and evolving the Townfields brand online.

This is not simply a scheduling role — we want somebody who understands engaging content, current social media trends, short-form video, and how to create daily content that connects with our audience across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable appearing on camera and confident creating engaging video content including reels, TikToks, stories, behind-the-scenes content, promotional campaigns, and product features.

This is a fully office-based role working from our Coventry head office.

Key Responsibilities

Creating daily content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social platforms
Producing engaging reels, TikToks, stories, promotional videos, and product-focused content
Planning and managing daily social media activity and campaigns
Helping grow audience engagement, reach, and brand awareness across all platforms
Appearing confidently within social media content and representing the Townfields brand online
Assisting with photography, video creation, editing, and behind-the-scenes content
Writing engaging captions, promotional copy, and social campaigns
Monitoring social media trends and adapting content to maximise engagement
Supporting product launches, seasonal campaigns, events, and promotional activity
Working closely with the ecommerce and marketing team to support continued business growth
Bringing fresh ideas and creative thinking to continue evolving the Townfields online presence

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and modern social media trends
Confident appearing on camera and presenting within video content
Experience creating reels, TikToks, stories, and short-form video content
Creative mindset with strong visual awareness and attention to detail
Excellent communication and copywriting skills
Ability to work independently and proactively
Good organisational skills and time management
Passion for branding, content creation, and digital marketing
Equine knowledge or genuine interest in the equestrian industry is essential

Desirable Skills

Experience using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar content creation tools
Photography or video editing experience
Experience managing business social media accounts
Understanding of ecommerce and online marketing
Basic knowledge of paid social advertising beneficial but not essential

Working Hours

Part-time, permanent position
3 days per week
25.5 hours per week
Flexible working days to be agreed at interview stage
