Full job description

Customer Service Advisor – Office Based

Location: Shipley, West Yorkshire

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days between Monday and Saturday (Monday–Friday 8am–6pm, Saturday 9am–3pm)

The Role:

We’re looking for a talented individual to join our Customer Services team. Your main goal will be to provide outstanding support to our customers through a positive attitude, technical expertise, and a dedication to delivering quality service.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Being the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email

- Handling First Notification of Loss (FNOL) calls and updating customers on their query or claim status

- Managing claims processing and administrative tasks to ensure customer satisfaction

- Maintaining and updating our customer database with accurate information

- Taking ownership of customer cases from initial contact through to resolution

- Working closely within our busy team to continually improve service quality

Skills & Knowledge:

- Proven experience in Customer Service

- Claims handling experience and knowledge (would be advantageous)

- A genuine interest in helping and supporting customers

- Polite, friendly, and thoughtful communication skills

- Patience and composure under pressure

- Ability to handle complaints and challenging situations professionally

- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
