About the Opportunity
Join OCU Group on a major new 132kV power infrastructure project in Anglesey, supporting the delivery of both cable route works and a new substation build. This is a standalone Senior SHEQ Advisor role where you'll take ownership of SHEQ performance across the project from mobilisation through to completion. We're looking for an experienced SHEQ professional with proven HV/LV project experience who can hit the ground running, build strong relationships on site, and provide visible leadership from day one. Working closely with operational teams, you'll play a key role in driving a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance, and supporting the successful delivery of a nationally significant infrastructure project. If you enjoy autonomy, responsibility, and making a genuine impact on project performance, we'd love to hear from you.

- Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, implementing effective corrective actions and lessons learned.
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, SHEQ briefings, and coaching to site teams.
- Support the development and implementation of risk assessments, safe systems of work, and project-specific SHEQ plans.
- Monitor SHEQ performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive best practice across the project.
- Produce SHEQ reports and maintain accurate records in line with company and client requirements.
Essential
- Experience in a Senior SHEQ Advisor, SHEQ Advisor, HSQE Advisor, or HSE Advisor role within construction, infrastructure, utilities, power, engineering, or water environments.
