Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable 360 excavator operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a 360-degree excavator to perform various earthmoving and site preparation tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic construction environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with relevant experience to contribute to large-scale projects while ensuring safety and precision on site.

Duties

Operate a 360-degree excavator to carry out excavation, loading, and grading tasks in accordance with project specifications
Conduct routine inspections of the excavator to ensure it is in safe working condition, reporting any faults or issues promptly
Assist with site clearance, trenching, digging foundations, and other earthworks as required
Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols
Maintain accurate records of work performed and report progress regularly
Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks on site and promote a safe working environment

Experience

Proven experience operating a 360 excavator in a construction or civil engineering setting
Mechanical knowledge of excavator components and basic troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with site safety procedures and the ability to work in compliance with health and safety standards
Experience with commercial driving is desirable but not essential; candidates must hold valid driving licences if required for site access or equipment transport
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

This role is ideal for motivated individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality work while maintaining safety standards across all operations.

Pay: £200.00-£210.00 per day
