Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Wine & Spirits Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine and spirits, excellent customer service skills, and a proven ability to build relationships and drive sales. You will be responsible for promoting our portfolio of wines and spirits to retail and on-premise customers while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
Promote and sell a portfolio of wines, spirits, and related products.
Achieve and exceed sales targets.
Identify new business opportunities and grow the customer base.
Advise customers on product selection, trends, and promotions.
Manage customer orders and ensure timely delivery.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
Represent the company professionally at trade shows and industry events.

Requirements

Previous experience in wine, spirits, or beverage sales.
Strong communication skills.
Passion for wine and spirits with a willingness to expand product knowledge.
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel locally.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

WSET or other wine/spirit qualifications (desirable but not essential).
