Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar tender to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills within a lively environment, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and courteously
Take orders accurately and process payments using the till system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming environment
Assist in setting up and clearing tables as required
Handle customer queries or complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role is preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and bills
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
